Daniel Berger Wins Fed Ex St. Jude to Keep His Title

Starting the day three shots off the lead at the Fed Ex St. Jude Championship wasn’t going to stop defending champ Daniel Berger from rallying back to keep his title.

Sunday at TPC Southwind was a barn-burner with a cluster of guys near the top but Berger had three birdies over his first 13 holes and then took and kept the outright lead with one more on 15.

Charles Schwartzel (-9), Whee Kim (-9), Braden Thornberry (-8), Billy Horschel (-8) and Rafael Cabrera-Bello (-8) all sat near the top but Berger took it home with a -10 for the tournament.

The young Floridian locked in his second tour win and both were at the St Jude.

“I’m 1-for-1 defending titles, so that’s a pretty good stat.” – Berger

A good stat indeed Danny! Congrats!
