Golf School: Stick Your Wedges for Makeable Putts

Dustin Johnson has made it to World #1 not because of the long-ball but because he’s setting himself up for makeable putts from 100-125 yards-out. Hitting the ball 300 yards will likely leave you inside 120 yards on a par-4, if you’re not able to get that shot within 15 feet then your chances of birdie are as much as the person that hit a 250-yard tee-ball.Enough numbers for today.

Butch Harmon coached Rickie Fowler into a much stronger wedge game and his improvement has gotten him into the winner’s circle a career, four times, including a win this year at the Honda Classic.
