Justin Rose Closes Out His Season With a Win

As most of the players are taking time off with family and friends, Justin Rose is still out there slinging low numbers to close out his season.

Rose was the world’s highest rank at The Indonesian Masters and came out on top after finishing with a -29 for the week. After shooting a couple of 62s and finishing up strong on Sunday with a 59-watch in effect, Rose earned his eight-shot victory at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who had settled into 56th rank in the world, needed an eagles on the final hole to earn his spot at The Masters and did just that to net him a 3-under 69 and a solo-fifth finish.

Justin Rose is riding a streak of ten top-10 finishes in a row after this past week’s win.

“To finish the year on a good note and still have a couple of weeks to enjoy this win over Christmas and New Year is really nice,” Rose said. “… To come here with my game in good shape, have the deal with bad weather and jetlag and stay focused on all four rounds, is something that I am really pleased about. I have had a dream week and I have played incredible golf.”
