Sergio Breaks Putter After Missed Eagle at Dell Technologies Championship

The Dell Technologies Championship certainly had it’s weather troubles but it was an eagle putt left short that caused Sergio Garcia his biggest problem.

Historically known for his short temper but claiming to have resolved the hot-head, Garcia took his frustrations out on his putter after leaving an eagle putt 13 feet short on the par-4 fourth.

He retired the damaged putter and drained his birdie putt with his three wood.

The rest of his 33 putts were made with a long iron which netted him four more birdies!

He, however, finished with a 4-over 75 and 2 over par for the week.
