Tiger Designing 10-Hole Track in Paradise

While Tiger is laid-up he seems to be staying busy with TGR Design after a release yesterday announcing him as the designer for a 10-hole course in the Bahamas. The Jack’s Bay luxury resort is perched on the Atlantic coast and boasts incredible views that are said to be distractingly beautiful. The course will be designed for “golfers to have fun, while still being challenged”, said Woods.

The 10-hole course named “The Playgrounds” might not satisfy golf’s purists who swear only by the 18-hole tracks (they’re adding one just in case) but a short, challenging and picturesque course can appeal to golfers who don’t want to sacrifice 4.5 hours while in paradise.

As golf’s consumers progress and our game adapts to their demands, we have to be open to alternative opportunities to get our fix. Fewer holes provides just that.
