Tiger Missing Bay Hill is Sign of Severity
In recent disappointing news, Tiger will not make it to Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Big Cat dropped out of Dubai over a month ago due to back spasms that delayed his much hyped comeback to golf.
While some believed that he had dropped out because his competitive spirit didn’t match his game, the latest news of him missing Arnie’s tournament should prove that theory wrong. The two legends shared a special bond and surely Woods would do anything possible to play in Palmer’s honour.
Recent texts between Presidents Cup Captain Steve Stricker and Tiger had showed signs that he wasn’t doing physically well, giving us less hope for the comeback we’re all looking for.
Tiger himself has said that he’s unsure of his return but we’re hoping that this rest will help his recovery and that he keeps a positive mindset while in a tough situation.
Sadly missing the 2017 API. I really wanted to be there. My best wishes to the Palmer family & everyone at Bay Hill. https://t.co/xkbvfohcxA
