Wesley Bryan Slips-on the Plaid Jacket at RBC Heritage

A weekend where some Tour players took a weekend off and others seemingly enjoyed #SB2K17 with well documented evidence, the RBC Heritage in Harbour Town hosted a slew of players who battled it out in a tight leaderboard. Wesley Bryan, one of the trick-shot-favorite Bryan Bros, picked up his first win on tour, and in his home state of South Carolina.

Growing up a short distance to Augusta, Bryan secured his spot at the Masters next year by making an early round birdie-run and edging out Luke Donald by one stroke.

49 years in the making, Bryan is the first South Carolina native to win the plain jacket at the Heritage that was first won by Arnold Palmer in 1969.

Bryan expressed his gratitude. “It’s one that I grew up dreaming on the practice green late at night when I was a kid, like this putt’s to win the Heritage. And to get it done here is one of the coolest experiences ever.”
